Last fall I went to the Coworking Europe Conference, and it had a profound impact my outlook of the future of coworking which I shared in my essay “Sex, Coworking, and Rock n’ Roll“.
I’m excited to be returning this year to join the community in Paris for the Conference’s 2012 edition, and to be there with my friends and collaborators on the Community Builder Masterclass Tony Bacigalupo and Adam Teterus.
What We’re Doing There
During the first day of the conference schedule, Tony will be speaking about “How coworking helped NYC become a startup hub, and why coworking is about something even bigger”, and I’ll be joining what some people might consider an unlikely panel for me, titled “Business centers, service suites, incubators, coworking spaces : is the war declared or can one pave a way for collaboration?”.
On the third day, I’m stoked to FINALLY be visiting my longtime coworking friends at La Cantine to help facilitate a “Collaborative Workshop on Diversification of Revenues and Straightening of the Coworking Spaces Economics” with Ramon Suarez.
We’re also planning a mini-workshop based on elements of the Community Builder Masterclass during the Unconference on day two, so look out for that on the schedule board.
Venez nous dire bonjour!
The #1 reason for us to come to Paris for this conference is to spend quality time with our coworking brothers and sisters, so old friends and new, we’re looking forward to meeting you. Please find us between talks or at a party and say, “Bonjour!”
