Awesome to hear about the mental reboot. I love when that happens to me, and I get a fresh boost of enthusiasm for this stuff.

I've also just got to say that the work you did for Gary's site was out-freaking-standing. I love the header photo, and the rest of the look and feel of the site is top-notch. I love that you took the design elements further than just being a 'skin'. Great stuff!

Absolutely 100% agreed.

Those "ridiculously driven" among us (we know who we are!) always forget the need to do things for ourselves that feed our souls. It's so easy to slip into the mode where we feel we have to be DOING SOMETHING PRODUCTIVE (or USEFUL or VALUABLE or PAYING) all the time. Well, I may be putting words in your mouth, but I am super-guilty of this myself at times. And I don't know about you, but those mode always makes me undervalue all the big things I've managed to accomplish, too. It always helps to have a friend point it out.

Case in point: Look at you! IndyHall! Holy bejeezus!

And a big, whopping THANK YOU hug for your help, by the way. You really rocked out :)
