my lack of posts…
isn’t for the lack of interesting things going on. Quite the contrary, in fact. I have a MILLION things I want to write about. Among them:
- The opening of Independents Hall on 32 Strawberry Street
- The power of building the community before the product or service
- My own discoveries about balance and time management
- Neat new development projects
- A summary of what I’ve learned so far along the path of building IndyHall
- and much more…
In the mean time, to tide you over, you can read this piece in the Philadelphia Inquirer about IndyHall.

Ah, iCon is certainly a controversial read. I loved it, but won’t bother admitting that to Steve Jobs. Sure gives me a new perspective when watching any of his speeches.
Anyway, I’m real excited about Independents Hall, congratulations on how far you’ve come. I’ve been reading your updates for a while now and find this incredibly exciting. Of course, I’ve also been reading a bunch of stuff about Andy Warhol and is infamous Factory(s) lately…
Hi-Alex. I sent you an e-mail through the Independents Hall website, and I’m sure you are swamped by responses from the Inquirer article, but I just wanted to write again and express my interest in what you’ve got going on in Old City. I live and work in Center City and my lease is up on my office in November and I would love to be a part of something similar west of Broad. Did you get any responses from people interested in a Center City Independents Hall? Please drop me a line and let me know.
Thanks so much.
