The smallest plan takes only 2% on top of the $24 vs the previous free structure et 3% so if you make $240 a month and up, you save. I'd be curious to see how many shops make less than $240 a month and at the same time can't cut their products to 5 to get the free level. There are a lot of people who are exceedingly interested in Shopify <em>because</em> of its differences - the fact that the fees were based on commissions they lowered the hurdles in a start up.
